On the exterior, the appraiser will look at the condition/quality of the walls, roof, gutters, windows, foundation, and anything else visible to the eye. They will inspect guest houses, outbuildings, garages, and any other permanent structures on the property.
On the interior, the appraiser will look at the condition/quality of the walls, trim, moldings, kitchen cabinets/appliances, bathroom cabinets, fixtures, flooring, internal systems, and anything else they can see.
They will need to look in all the rooms in the main house and any other buildings you have on the property.
